Dear Toys to Grow On customers,
As we have all heard in the news, there have been several recent safety issues with toys and other items manufactured in China. This news affects all of us here at Toys to Grow On—both personally and on a professional level. We want to know that the products we give to our children are safe…and, just as importantly, we want to know that the products we sell to our customers are safe for their children. Thankfully, Toys to Grow On has always been a stickler for perfection when it comes to safety.
So, just how does Toys to Grow On ensure that our products are safe? We have our own in-house quality assurance team that tests and inspects every item we carry—and every component—with even more rigorous standards than those required by law. If an item doesn’t pass our tests, we don’t carry it—period. And, after an item passes our strict standards, it is tested and certified by an outside testing laboratory, which includes testing for lead.
Some customers may want to know if Toys to Grow On carries any items that are manufactured in China. Toys to Grow On carries items from all over the world, including China and many other countries, as well as products that are made right here in the United States. However, all of the items we sell—including those from China—have passed every one of our rigorous safety standards…and none of the items we carry have been recalled or affected by the recent news headlines.
One other way we know that our products are safe is that we use them right here in our on-site preschool and child care center. Here, our products are put into daily use by over 70 children—including my children and our employees’ children.
You can rest assured that the products Toys to Grow On sells are safe and that we are doing everything we can do to provide our customers with superior-quality products they can trust with their children.
