Our in-house Quality Assurance Team conducts an extensive testing & evaluation process on every item we sell—ensuring its safety & quality. Products are required to meet all U.S. safety regulations…and the even tougher standards set by our own QA Team. Here’s just a glimpse at some of the testing each item undergoes.
Each toy is dropped, pulled, twisted, compressed—and even bitten—to ensure that it won’t shatter, splinter or break in the hands of children.
Testing tubes like this help us evaluate each toy’s age-appropriateness, ensuring it doesn’t pose a small parts choking hazard to young children.
When it comes to lead, we go above and beyond the standards required by law. The legal allowable lead level in surface coatings is 600 parts per million (ppm), but we limit lead levels to only a fraction of that amount.
In addition to extensive in-house testing, we also require testing & documentation by a certified outside lab. We use only highly reliable and well-known laboratories for our testing purposes.
Once an item passes our rigorous in-house testing and gets outside certification, the product is tested in our on-site preschool, where it is put into daily use by over 70 children! If it stands up to anything these kids can dish out, the item officially becomes a Toys to Grow On product.
